I'm just so blown away by how good "The Middle" looks. The wall treatments are the best I've ever seen, the overall color saturation and clarity get me high.

So Apparently The Middle is shot on Super-16? I would have sworn it was 35mm. Amazing. Is it possible that the depth of field for super-16mm melds better with HD than 35mm does?

I have conflicting sources saying conflicting things. I presumed it was 35mm, and then was told on the LAFCPUG that it was Super 16mm. Super 35 3-perf would make sense because the colors are so outstanding nothing else on television comes close to the clarity and resolution.

Talk about getting a color high, The Middle is on right now, just unbelievable color and clarity.

Sounds like a good promo for Kodak. They should work something out with the producers to do trade ads.

I think even a show like Modern Family would benefit by going back to film. Kodak should consider offering a challenge, "go back to film and your ratings go up at least one point, we guarantee it".
