Hey, not long ago I ran across this European chap who had created a stabilizing algorithm for 8mm and he was having superb results. However, I have lost all links to him and his videos and after spending hours looking and Googling, I am hoping someone here knows who I am talking about.

I recently shot some Pro8mm rolls and all of them suffer from more jitter or shaking than I'd like and since they are mostly 500t, they are quite grainy. This project would be perfect to try and noise reduce and stabilize a bit.

By the way, I use a PC for any gurus out there. NO MAC ACCESS.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

Do you mean Freddy Van de Putte and his AVIsynth scripts?
