how to get hi resolution footage of red in dvd

hi , i have shot a short film on red mx on 4k . the editing , colour correction (On scratch) , 5.1 sound all has been done now the problem is how can i burn my hi resolution output on dvd and which resolution can be burned in dvd 2k or 4k .

Non. DVD is SD only. BluRay can resolve 1080P; but that's the max. You'll have yo down-rez your footage.

You can make a DVD disc which is Blu-Ray compatible and will play at 1080P using compressor and Toast Titanium but the disc is limited to about 25min of footage. There is no such thing as a 2k or 4k Disc just 1080x1920 Blu-Ray.
