Hey!

Whenever I rent stuff i always get the Putty knife in my Grip case.
I can honestly say that I Never used it!
In Uva´s Grip Guide there is a explanation but I still dont really understand what is for.

What is your experience of this tool?
And what do you use it for?

Best regards

Never seen one in person or used one but the description from that same book I read years ago sticks with me ...

What about it don't you understand ?

Could say It's the kind of thing that is useless until it's exactly what you need Posted Image

Never used it. Always thought it was for putting a small fixture above a closed door or something.

Slip the knife behind molding, Jam it in some rocks in a cave, etc. there are a thousand uses for it. I have used it a lot over the years. The most fun was jamming in in a book to hide a fixture in a bookshelf. The cave was pretty cool too. It is best used with small fixtures, or Kinos.
