Well, they do have a website. It would have to be a pretty expensive practical joke.

The theory sounds plausible, I'd like to see some real-world results.

Sony haven't mentioned it as an object of desire at NAB, although they've announced others.

All these April first cameras involve a lot of work, Their location in the satellite view on the web site seems to be a garden shed in Germany.
