Hi Guys!

I'm looking for a lab, preferably in or around Amsterdam, that processes 16mm. Any ideas? Technicolor told me they don't do it anymore.

Thanks for your help.

As far as I know, Cineco is the only (commercial) film lab in Amsterdam. Had some 16mm test material processed there some years ago. I was very pleased with their work, very nice people too.

Cineco is the way to go!!! They have setup a partner deal with kodak and fuji:
S16mm 1 400 feet can + development + 2k scan for 275 euro!!!!!
That means 12 minutes of film at 2k for 275 euro!!!!

About how much does it cost to develop a 400 ft roll of 16mm in Germany?
And what about Telecine?

I don't see prices on Arri, Medialab or cinepost website, and am trying to get an idea of costs here.

Oh. and follow up question: I know that a lot of low budget productions send their film elsewhere in Europe.. romania, Hungary etc. as the pricing is supposed to be cheaper. Any recommendations, links or thoughts or lists of filmlabs in europe will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

we are Barrandov film Labs at Prague (Czech Republic).

We offer processing of 35mm and 16mm, color and also b&w. We can make prints or digitize the picture in SD or HD resolution.

One 400ft can of color 16mm (processing & HD telecine) would cost some 247EUR (VAT incl.), for students of film or art schools even 213EUR.

Don´t hesitate to contact me. pjelen@barrandov.cz
