I'm gonna get some Vision 3 and I'm overjoyed with the prospect and I wanna here from film lovers about what stock gets them going.
I got the vision 3 demo but it just has 5219 (which I'm all over) and 5207. I'm gonna first shoot some 7219 with my Kinor.

Well when it comes to ordering stock, it's all about what's happening in the script.
However, if you're taking what stock I'd be thrilled to be shooting/playing on, it would probably be 5285- just something to have fun on.
I also liked the 5260 which seems to be no more.
Not much of a fan of the '30, at least not in S16mm, but would be fine in 35mm of course.

I shot some short ends of 5245 50d from Shallow Hal. I love that stock. I loved that I had the same film that a big movie had. It was my first short ends and my second 35mm roll ever. Mine didn't look as good as theirs. Poor transfer. I'm dreamin about 2 perf 5219 but I want to shoot the same scene with all of them to learn. I took a long break.
