Hi
Working on a concept for my reel that involves a shattered bottle in slow motion dramatically lit.

Unfortunately I cannot afford the $2,500 day it would cost to rent a Phantom Flex (+ technician!)

Are there any other more affordable options for this type of work?

You could try to get hold of a Sony FS-700. They go up to 240fps at very decent quality.

I shot this on one:

Take a look at the Olympus i-speed. Here's a test I shot with it

1000, 750, and 500fps

EDIT

Nicely done Phil! ;)
