Hello everybody!

Let me fisrt apologize for any kind of mispealing or any english incoherence.

I have a zoom H4N and I would like to buy some audio equipment for my inicial projects. I'm thinking about getting an azden fmx 45 and some mics and a boompole. The question is if it is possible with this setup to record into my zoom with 4 channels? I know that zoom has that possibility, but I would like to record 3 or 4 mics linked to that mixer and I would like to know if it is possible do get 1 mic to his respective track.

Thank you all,

Best Regards

the way the H4n records to four channels is two inputs through the XLR ins and two through the built in mics. The built ins are good for ambient sound. If that suits your needs then you are all set. I think though, you are going to have to come off a mixer in order to get 4 discreet channels.

Thank you Chris.

So if I have that azden fmx 45 mixer with a stereo XLR output and a stereo minijack output it is possible to record 4 discreet channels in my zoom?
