Hi All,

I was looking for opinions on the best "on camera" light for use with Super 8 cameras. I'm most concerned with getting 5500k "daylight" for use with Kodak 100D, Velvia 50D or Kodak 250D. Of course, it's nice to have a filter for tungstan as well.

I am leaning most towards this one:

but also this one:

Because the lux rating is much higher.

I'll be using a Canon 814 AZ and probably this bracket to mount it to the camera:

Any suggestions or experience would be appreciated.

Has anyone ever experienced any strobing with LED lights and 24 FPS or anything like that?

Thanks!

Note, this is not for "production" use. It's primarily for wedding dance floor and home movies. I realize that much higher quality and fixed lighting is needed for production.

Adorama tends to have lower prices for the same LED lighting.

And I recommend one of these to hotshoe your light...
