Hello all!

This is a piece that I shot for school that is supposed to represent a dream-like state and I'm interested to hear your thoughts/comments so I can improve my work.

Trying to quit, are we?

If it's as tough as that makes it look, you have my very deepest sympathy. I guess that makes it a success as a short film, eh?

Bit long, perhaps. Didn't feel like it really introduced any new topics beyond about half way through. Don't labour the point.

Definitely surreal enough to make me believe it was a dream sequence without you even telling me. But a bit overwrought, in my opinion. It gets the point across, but does so in way that it kind of wacks the viewer over the head with a sledgehammer rather than being subtle about it. Very often, all you need is some filtration or color tinting to make the viewer believe that he or she is watching a dream sequence.

If I were you, I'd go back and cut some junk out of it, and see if people think it's any better.
