Can someone tell me how to achieve these looks with grading?

I came across some really cool music videos.  I can't figure out what type of filters, or color grading the editors used.  Maybe you guys can give me some ideas where to start looking.  I'm going to include some still frames that I took from the video.  Let me know if you know how I can achieve these types of looks.

That looks like color gel on a light...the purple,... The blacks seem neutral . All that to say it was a planned look achieved on set. So the best way to reproduce would be in the lighting not in post.
