I was interested in purchasing an expensive piece of video production equipment from a seller on Kitmondo.  Is this safe? Will Paypal protect me?

I find zero reviews for this site, good or bad online... ANYWHERE??

What do you guys think?  Anybody have a personal experience?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.
Thanks in advance,

Kitmondo is more like Craigslist than eBay. They offer the listing service and if it is a big enough sale someone from Kitmondo will call and try to facilitate/broker the deal and I'm sure they take a nice chunk. It comes down to the person you're buying from just like eBay. However they tend to have bigger ticket items from companies rather than individuals.

I've tried to sell some stuff there, but...

Two bidders and nobody at the end.

I think it's not so popular to sell there.

Also there's a lot of legit sellers who has accounts in other resources selling there. I think that buying from a legit seller at kitmondo is ok.
