Had this question in the lighting forum, 92 views No replies..... So how about the camera guys?

I am now the proud owner of (4) J.G. McAlister, 21" frenel lights. I low bid on an auction and won. These lights are in good/great condition, all parts are present except no bulbs and the owner thought they were 10k's. I have a couple of questions:

1. Are these lights still viable in todays production needs?
2. Should I put them back in service or re-purpose them?
3. Should I re-socket them ?

My ultimate goal is to get a small lighting/grip trailer going for local rentals....

Thanks in advance
