Anybody seen this thing?
Impressive. Looks like it's going to be a really cool camera for under a grand. S16mm sensor, m4/3 interchangable lens system. Still comes with DaVinci resolve.

Hi Jason: The new Pocket Cinema Camera was announced a couple of weeks ago at the NAB expo. And, yes, it looks like it'll be an interesting camera when it becomes available in a few months.
There are threads about the BMPCC here on Cinematography.com, such as:
P.S.: The BMPCC will include the free version of Davinci Resolve Lite which can also be downloaded from BMD's website. BMD's other cameras, such as the original BMCC and new BMPC-4K will include the full version of Davinci Resolve which normally sells for $995.

John Brawley tweets "new" BMPCC pocket cam firmware features:
He hints that these features may possibly be coming to the BMCC-EF and new BMPC-4K cam, too. Except, of course, the passive mount BMCC-MFT will not feature auto-focus.
Note also that Blackmagic Design has scheduled 2 events, in L.A. & NYC:
FYI: Dates, times, locations, and online registration:
Los Angeles on July 25th, and New York City on Aug. 8th:
"Come and see the complete range of Blackmagic Design solutions for broadcast, post production and live events! This is a fantastic opportunity to see our newly announced NAB 2013 products including innovative new cameras, new Ultra HD and 6G-SDI equipment, plus waveform monitoring and Thunderbolt based editing solutions."
"We will be showing all these products and a lot more for the first time at our event including a series of demonstrations and theater presentations. Join us as well as key industry partners to learn more about Blackmagic Design products, and complementary workflows and solutions."
