Is it better to store film in the fridge at just above 0 degrees or in the freezer at around - 30 degrees? Does the freezing affect the film usage on a mechanical level? I have some sitting in the freezer at the moment.

The temperature recommendation depends on how long you're storing for and make sure that it's fully thawed out before you use it.
