Is it better to store film in the fridge at just above 0 degrees or in the freezer at around - 30 degrees? Does the freezing affect the film usage on a mechanical level? I have some sitting in the freezer at the moment.

Kodak give info on film storage. http://motion.kodak....nd_Handling.pdf

The temperature recommendation depends on how long you're storing for and make sure that it's fully thawed out before you use it.
