So I was thinking of buying my first dslr, either the Nikon D3200 or D5200, I just don't know which one would be better for shooting occasional films that are approximately 2-5 minutes long. Any suggestions? And would a camcorder be better for my situation? Thanks for your time in advance.

This gets asked all the time. There are a dozen dozen answers. Just buy what you like. Buy new or buy used. There are so many DSLR choices at this point, no one camera is the wonder-cam.
