Yes, but the first part was bizarre as well. Considering the differences in the return on investment for the same film with different MPAA ratings, this kind of behavior is unforgivable. There should be a universal standard for everyone or no standard at all. If anything, indie projects which traditionally push the envelope of censorship should have MORE leeway than studio pictures which are much more made for and marketed to the general public and therefore more inappropriate for certain age groups. I like Matt Stone and Trey Parker's work. I think "BASEketball" (1998) is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I also liked "Orgasmo"(1997) which was also very funny. It was a little raunchy never the less hilarious, but to have an NC-17 rating on this film is absurd. More like a PG-13 or R at the most. I HATE stupidity especially when it needlessly interferes with artistic freedom and even more so when it applies to a low budget indie that MUST make it's money back. To ME, it looks more like he McCarthy hearing where the truth is ignored in favor of sensationalism and power trips. They seem to do this kind of garbage not because it's the right thing to do but because they can.
