I have successfuly written a reality TV show and got people to read everything with positive results, got people who are willing to assist with recording the first episode.

I am working on a reality TV show kinda like PIMP MY RIDE and other home improvement shows. But since I'm totally new in this and I don't want to approach a broadcaster YET...

...I would like to know a camera setup I must resort to, do I need one HD camera and a mic to record all of this? As it will follow two people throughout...with inserts recorded in an RV/ Chroma-Key home based studio....

What camera is recommended for this gig for a total newbie with almost zero-budget (but has access to minimal excessive funds) what to do? What do I need? HELP :-(
