Hey everyone ..

I just got a Milliken high speed super 16 camera and i also got this Kern 10mm  lens ..

once i developed this footage i notice a big circle on the left side ..

Can this be the lens not covering super 16 ? i tought all the KERN 10mm lenses cover super 16.. or maybe doesn't work with the camera

please need some help

thanks so much

If it's only on one side it sounds like the lens was not re-centered when the camera was "converted" to super 16.  It was probably just a gate widening rather than a full Super 16 conversion.

The 10mm Switar only barely covers S16, some might say it actually doesn't properly cover since the corners get darker. Add a filter ring or hood (especially to the early 10mm) and it can vignette further.

Because it's such a close fit, if the lens mount centering is even slightly off you'll get what you're seeing.

...or the lens is centred correctly but the finder mask is off.
