Can somebody list good filters to use when shooting day for night in color?

I know that with black and white film day-for-night was easy done by using a red filter and  under-exposing by half a stop. Any ideas how to do it with color cameras or film?

The default way was to use blue filters (e.g. 80a) and to underexpose by one stop. However there are now specialised filters for this task:

Tiffen day for night filters sound nice, but I can't find any tests or reviews of them online whatsoever.

I just bought good polarizing filter, hope that should do the trick.

Check out this video test. It's completely color corrected for night in post. Shot during the day.
