Wether it be standard def or high def, what would be good video taps/monitors to use when shooting 35mm?

I read in another thread that both this and the PV HD video tap suffer from light loss, is this true?

With every video tap you loose light, the light is being split between the eyepiece and the tap.

Unless you loose the eyepiece and do a 100% tap.
