Odd question, the machine that converts magnetic track to optical (When you make prints)- what's it called?

I just realized, i've never seen or heard of one. But I know they exist, you couldn't combine your sound and negative together without it.

Anyone?

Optical film recorder or optical camera. Records incoming audio to optical negative on B&W sound negative film. Can be mono, Dolby analog (SR), Dolby Digital (SRD) and DTS; and Sony SDDS on 35mm, on 16mm mono only.
