Photo Flash sync on Arri Alexa

Hi!

I'm right now preping a feature film here in Brazil to shoot with Arri Alexa. In the script theres this scene where lots of flashes (from still cameras) are fired onto the character's faces and I'd like to know if you guys have any thoughts or suggestions about flashes and sync.

I dont know nothing about syncing but if you can use photographic flashes with sync cable you can comand several maybe connecting with a light meter, just clicking  you have all the flashes simoultaneously.
