"Applied Photographic Optics" By Sidney F. Ray. It's like an optics bible but very in-depth and unfortunately also very expensive, even the used copies. If you're looking for something less scientific and more hands-on, the American Cinematographer Manual also has a chapter on lenses and the rest of the book is also extremely useful to... Hope that helps!
