Hey

I need to power two 60W bulbs in the woods, and am considering using a Vagabond Mini Lithium as the power source. Seems to be cheap and although not designed to run continuously could probably handle everything. Does anyone have any experience using these? Are there any cheap alternatives you could recommend?

Thanks

It doesn't have much capacity. 130Wh is only an hour at best and, as you say,  it's meant for recharging electronic flash for a couple of seconds at a time. A car battery running an inverter has at least four times the capacity.

I've used the Vagabond mini to run continuous lights before, however like Mark stated not much capacity so instead of using Tungsten bulbs I've used Led bulbs.  I see the only benefit over the car battery is the fact that the Vagabond is a bit more portable and probably has good resale value on Craigslist with still photographers
