Hi All!

I want to do some lighting/exposure tests on 5D and 16mm film to determine what is the overall dynamic range and how certain degrees of under/over exposures look.

I have Sekonic L398M lightmeter and a cheap grey card. AFAIU, lightmeter and camera have different "definitions" of 18% grey, how can I calibrate my lightmeter to both cameras?

What is the best way to test the dynamic range without a proper test chart?

Any tips are highly appreciated!
Thanks a lot! :)
