Hi, guys!
Thanks in advance for everyone who will express their opinions and probably give advises on my problem. I gathered some money to invest in my career and  want to land every job, related cinematography (from camera trainee to loader, AC, camera operator) in US. I'm from Russia, Moscow. :)

I have graduated camera operators 1-year school, now working as camera operator in a small production and have work experience with Sony cameras, DSLR and Red Epic.

At first, I was thinking about enrolling in 1-year cinematography courses in UCLA to obtain the certificate and much more important - to make connections that could eventually help to get a job. But the tuition in UCLA has raised and now I'm afraid I can't afford it.

So, is it wise to search for another courses or universities to study and networking and can you suggest good one? Or it's better to save money and try to search the work by myself? (sound horryfying 'cause unfortunately I don't have friend in US yet)

Thanks!
