Hey there everyone.

I'm trying to find out if there is a way to edit my source clips before importing the clips into Premiere.

I.E. If I have a 7 minute source clip on my hard drive, but only 30 seconds is worth anything, is there a way to get rid of the other 6.5 mins and only keep the good stuff? I'm looking for somewhat of an easy fix. I know I could always cut the full clip, then export the cut clip, and then delete the old source clip, but this is really time consuming. I use a Sony AX-2000 video camera which films great HD, but the video takes up a lot of space on my hard drive. Just looking to maximize the space on my hard drive.

Thanks!

You shouldn't double post, it only causes confusion when people are answering in two places.
