Think it's worth a £25 train fare to see?

I think if i had it spend I'd go. If anything it's a day out and even if it's complete rubbish, it's a day out, a nice train ride with a book, a pint, and something to do. Who knows may blow your mind, or spark some idea-- even if you hate it. How does one put a price on that?

edit, oh god, I sound like an optimist. Someone must've switched my coffee.

Yeah, but it's in the bloody Barbican. It's one of the ugliest buildings in London.

OK, it's ugly in a fairly specific and unusual way, but it's still horrendously ugly, and now it's protected.

Aargh, aargh.

Google image search 'brutalist architecture' - there are some examples of the style that capture peoples imagination (in a positive light).

At least an attempt to make the building functional. Unlike, some other styles - on a whole I'd prefer it to most of the latest examples of 'hi-tech'

Done well, everything has it's place ...

;)
