Hi Guys & Gals,

 

The fair in Deidesheim is now over and it was really exciting to meet other like-minded enthusiasts.

Right now we are waiting to get our promotional video material which was shot in Deidesheim and while we are waiting for that we are finalizing some improvements to camera in terms of noise reduction.

Awesome! The article mentioned timelapse, is this true? Also, Kodak is raising the price almost $5 per roll and has everyone nervous that they mught soon drop S8 all together.. Have you folks been in contact with Kodak at all about your product, or recieved any re-assurance that they will continue to support the format?

If Kodak stop direct support, others like pro8mm and spectra in the USA and Wittner in Europe will take up the slack. If anything it would be a good thing for those small operations.

I mentioned this in another thread but does anyone know if this camera will be deliverable by Summer? (Around June or July?)

 

I emailed them a while ago hoping to get one by late July and they said probably not. Doesn't mean it couldn't happen, they just aren't promising these will be ready for those mid summer shoots.
