Hi,

I was wondering how these transitions are/can be made:

I have an opportunity to interview with an advertising company and they want someone who can shoot and edit videos like the one above. My shooting/lighting game is much stronger than my video editing game. What I would have to learn how to do is add in all of the still objects that slide accross the screen like during the highlights. I would have to learn how add in the text as well.

Thanks in advance for any advice, it will/would be sincerely appreciated.

Looks like it was just done in after effects, aping the appearance of hand-done stop motion paper cutouts. Perhaps the most famous example of this sort of thing is South Park, which was actually done in a 3D rendering package so that the pieces of "paper" would have correct shadowing as they laid one atop the other. This, though, doesn't seem to have that.

Probably uses some scanned or photographed elements for the glitter paper cutouts.

Get after effects and dive in!

Phil,

Thank you for the advice. I'll get cracking in after effects!
