If you want to check out the Panasonic broadcast equipment that was shown at NAB 2005 in April, then this is your chance. Abel Cine Tech and our industry partners are proud to present our Panasonic Post NAB Open House at our NYC location.

The workshop will be broken out into the following three sessions:

Digging Deeper into the HDC27F VariCam

Jesse Rosen, Abel?s Technical Director, will delve into the finer aspects of the VariCam, covering differences in workflow using film-rec vs. video-rec modes. Also included: the effects of using frame rates, gamma correction, as well as the new Canon ACV-235 anamorphic converter.


DVCPRO and P2 Workflows with Avid / Final Cut Pro

Using footage from VariCam, SDX900 and SPX800 cameras via HD1200A, SD93 and SPD850 P2 Decks, Panasonic?s Director of Product Engineering Steve Mahrer will show first hand the DVCPRO HD/50/25 and P2 workflows through Avid and Final Cut Pro.


No Longer Under Wraps! Introducing the HDX200

Jan Crittenden Livingston, Product Marketing Manager for the SDX900 and DVX100A, will unveil the camera that had all of NAB abuzz, the AG-HVX200 P2 DVCPRO HD handheld camcorder, due to ship in last quarter ?05. Jan will discuss camera features, applied technology and workflow.

All sessions include Q&A and run 90 minutes. They will be repeated three times during the day at 12:30, 2:00 and 3:30. You are welcome to take part in any or all sessions, depending on your interests and schedule.
