Hey guys,

Seemed this one slipped through the cracks of most people's Cinec coverage, BBS have just released a new ultra-lightweight, boom-able LED softlight called the 'Flyer', you can run it straight off v-mount batteries strapped to your waist, it's 3000k-5600k switchable, and basically a portable china ball.

Could have a very similar application to the LED ribbon china ball solution they used on American Hustle:

Or it could be ideal for lighting something like a dinner table setting, the light-weigh nature of it would certainly make it FAR easier to boom in than many alternatives.

Just a shame it's so expensive.

What do you think?
