Not sure what it is exactly but it's certainly a DV cam with a matte box and microphone.

It's a Sony of some sort, most likely a PD150. There's a profile shot of it on the official site.

Are any of the sonys really that small? That thing looks hidden camera status (not really, but pretty damn small)
