Can bolex be converted to super 16? If so, which models?

Also, can bolexes be outfitted for crystal sync/ electric motor? Just curious, thanks.

I know some Bolexs can be converted to Super 16, not sure which models.  Crystal sync electric motors are also possible. But you won't be able to get the noise level down for actual sync sound recording.

Yep, that's the biggest problem with the Bolex, they weren't ever built for quietness. I've done a lot of sync sound recording with Bolex cameras for temp stuff and it's amazing how loud they are. Even if you cover the camera with ferny pads, it's still making noise.

THere is a blimp, but it's the size of a diving helmet.

I believe the SBM and EBM are easier to convert to S16 because fixed position of the bayonet mount, whereas the 3 lens turret on older H16s makes alignment a little more challenging.
