hi friends My name is Sangeeth and I am from India. I quit my job as as a data analyst for cinematography. I do not have time for film schools. I now got an offer in a movie as an assistant cinematographer but i dont think (as a matter of fact am sure) that i am not good in lighting. Not even as an amateur . Can anyone help me in finding out a good source where i can learn a little bit of lighting so that i do not look dumb at the spot or at least I should able to relate to what the DOP id talking about.

There's this forum:

http://www.cinematog...p?showforum=107

Which has posts on cinematography books, as well as a specific 'beginner' section for book recommendations.
