I am shooting a low budget commercial on a miniature set with baby turtles (they are around 3 inches top to tail). I have done rough tests on my A7S and to get the sort of size of shots required at a useable distance from my subject (at least 1 foot away) I would need to use something like the 200mm micro nikor macro lens or a standard 200mm prime with diopters. However, the depth of feild is going to be so small that the set will almost become redundant. Does anyone have any sugestions other than getting the stop up around F22 ! - I thought of maybe trying a borescope and working closer with wider macros but lighting becomes problematic if I get too close.

Thanks for any help.
