I'm considering buying a Source 4 to add to my kit but all of the ones I see for sale are designed for hanging for theatrical lighting, not set lighting.

Does anybody have any experience with attaching baby pin receivers to Source 4 Lights for mounting onto baby stands/other film set lighting stands?

TVMP will bolt right to the hanger.  No different than "converting" any other theater lighting fixture.

yep; TVMP. I would also think about putting on a longer cord with a switch.

I would also add a second locking handle in place of the bolt on the hanging yoke.  Even though a Source 4 is lighter than your typical theater leko, you're going to want to put this light on junior stand.  Thicker risers, less wobble as you adjust the shutters, the focus, etc.
