I am looking for a mattebox for a 24.5mm Elite anamorphic prime lens. The lens has about a 140mm front diameter and is very wide with an adjusted fov at about 12mm. Any recommendations on a mattebox that would work for something this wide? Thanks in advance.

Arri LMB-6 or 4A. 6x6 or 4x5.65 clip-on with reduction trays, 2 or 3 stage. Largest clamp on size is 156mm. Arri says it is usable on the Zeiss Ultra Prime 8R, and I've used it on the 12mm Ultra Prime without no issues.

Why have a matte box at all for that wide of a lens?  You can tape any filters directly to the lens and flag any flares.

True, I really don't want to have a matte box for it but need to get ND on it. Since I am going to be using the lens a lot, I think I might want something a little more elegant than tape though.

That's fine.  We are always taping filters onto lenses for various reasons - in an elegant way, of course!  :)

I think I am going to do this for the time being, and focus on getting some ND's - I don't have any large enough at the moment. Probably just 2 to start with. The lens is T2.1 and shooting 24P at 800 iso, I am considering getting a 3 and 7 stop so I can stack and have 3, 7, and 10 stop but would love any suggestions on that front.
