Hey Guys,

I'm new to this forum and im looking for a effective way to emulate the look of some of the classic 90 and early 2000 Rap / RnB Music Videos.

Im talking in particular about this diffused film look. i hope y'all get what im referring to with the given examples.

since i dont have the possibility to shoot on film i would need a way to process my digital video material to look similar to this.

any suggestions? Maybe play the material onto a vcr tape and then back into the computer after the grade?

 Leroy,

Welcome to the forum. This topic has been discussed several times before. Some of the answers that you seek can be found in this thread. :

One of the fastest ways to get closer to that look is to buy an old EF Mount Canon Still camera Zoom lens on EBAY and adapt that to your camera.
