Does anyone have any recommendations for a good book on lenses? I'm looking for something very technical. Thank you!

There are lots of good books on lenses for photography and cinematography. The best, and most current, is called "Applied Photographic Optics", by Sidney Ray. It's a little pricey, but an enormous and thorough wealth of information.

Really good, but I would have an advanced algebra book standing by as it delves into the physics of the lens
