BATTERY for Pentax 1

Can anyone tell me what kind of battery/batteries this old Pentax spot meter takes?  Would it be a standard 9V?

It does take a PP3, but it also needs an obsolete 1.3V mercury battery but there are alternatives. There's a lot of online discussion about it.
