Hi everyone. Since I'm planning on advertising for freelance cinematography in the very near future, I'm looking to get some basic familiarity with the Alexa. I was wondering if anyone has an e-mail contact at CSC NY (none are listed on the website) so I could introduce myself.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I can ask next time I'm there which should be this week.  You're basically interested in paying a visit, trying it out?  Talking some tech stuff with he camera prep technicians?  Yes.

I'd just give them a call. Ask for Gus (Lynn Gustafson), he's the head of camera rental. Extremely helpful and courteous guy. The whole team there is a class act.

I think there is a GUI simulator on the Arri website (maybe?) the Alexa is a pretty straigtforward camera to run with very well designed GUI.
