Has anyone from the US ever attempted to process film in another country like India or East Europe? Was it successful? I can propably travel for less there instead of spending the enormous ammount of money here! Any suggestions are appreciated.

An issue might be how you ship lots of unprocessed film and avoid the risk of x-ray exposure from airline security. It's usually best to work with a good lab in the country you are shooting in. I don't know if I would recommend sending film outside the US just for cost reasons, when there are so many good labs here.

Kodak has sales offices thoughout the world, so you can usually purchase the film locally and not worry about shipping:
