We are used to spending less than $100/day to rent the very best of EF stills glass, but the production I'm on can't afford a $400/day angie for one shot, can anyone reccomend an affordable rental? It doesn't have to be fast or light, just long zoom range, parfocal, and covers at least S16 - PL mount or something that can be adapted to BMCC EF mount.

Thanks for your suggestions.

You can rent a Super 16 zoom for around $100 per day. I notice some here for example: http://www.duallcamera.com

The problem may be less rental companies having the 16mm kit.
