Hello.

The times I've been using fluorescent lights, I've always used the ones with the truest colors. Which in Norway is 930(3200K), and 950(5600K).

But I know that there's an CR1 scale for the lamps. And the higher the scale, well, the better the color rendering of the lamps.

Do any of you know of which manufacturers who have the lights with the highest CR1? (CR1 91 and up)

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Lamp manufacturers usually specify the Color Rendering Index in their product data:

http://www.topbulb.com/find/cri.asp

http://www.schorsch....ossary/cri.html

Remember, the CRI is specifically derived for quantifying color rendition for LOOKING at a scene illuminated by the light, not PHOTOGRAPHING it, although they are correlated.
