hey everyone,

i shoot on a panasonic GH3. I was wondering which format (MP4, AVCHD, and MP4) is the best to shoot with when exporting later for Instagram and twitter. These social media platforms tend to have pretty hard compression when I try to post some of my videos. Is there a solution to this or am I just exporting too large? Please help!!

AVCHD or MP4 for use and editing on a PC, MOV for editing or use on a Mac. All of these formats record basically the same bit rates and color information, it's simply down to which codec works best with which system. Don't record AVCHD if you intend to edit on a Mac though - I hear it's a nightmare.
