Having just received a shippment of Nizo Super 8 cameras, one of my S560's came with the gate out of the camera.

The two gate arms? the physical gate, and the spring I have all of the pieces.

I can get all the pieces back into the camera except for the small spring.  I have no idea where it goes, and can't located an exploded diagram of this particular model.

The exploded diagram of the s56 does not include the gate section and thus does not include the spring.

I have an assembled S560 but I don't want to take the gate out for fear of not really learning where that little spring goes!  Then I'll have two not so useful cameras instead of one!

The S55/S56 does not use the same type of gate as the S560 so thats unhelpful also.

Anyone have any experience with this model??

Thanks!

Was this purchase made on Fleabay?  If the seller didn't show or otherwise note the loose parts in the description, you probably have a case for a partial refund. Either way, I'm certain an experienced camera tech will post here shortly.

Yes, and I knew when buying that one of the cameras was "for parts" likely because they didn't want to fiddle with putting the gate back in!

As for partial refund, 5 cameras for $35 with 3.5 in working conditin... I'm not worried too much.
