Hey guys, I was just curious about something:  When I power the camera and crank up the rheostat, of course the motor runs faster, but when I twist it right up to number 2, the motor stops.  Can't find any info in the manual.  Any ideas.  BTW, doesn't mater whether the motor is in the camera or out.

Thanks

It is possible that there is a dead spot in the rheostat, corrosion. I had to carefully dismantle the motor and clean everything (the brushes, rheostat coils all electrical contacts). I also replaced the bearings with new sealed bearing. I had to re-solder some wiring. The motor worked very well upon re-assembly. I hope this helps. I did not have any manual to do this.
